Fabulous little bakery outlet in East Grinstead. Although not cheap, everything I have bought the quality has been great. Nice selection of bread and cakes, along with some interesting lunch options. Quite cosy given the size of the place but in a character building. Recommended.
Staggered to read some of the negative comments. Still...were a country dealing with Brexit, so nothing really surprises me about the British public these days! I am eternally grateful that they chose East Grinstead to open another bakery. I have found all the staff to be incredibly polite, the coffee is delicious and the cakes, pastries and breads Ive bought have all been fresh and moreish. Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion but my goodness, Id rather go here, pay a little more and get a quality product compared to ubiquitous Greggs or Coughlans where everything is stodgy. Keep up the great work guys.
A great place to stop for coffee or to buy bread. Do both if you can.
Good mix of the usual baked food with some interesting additions - i.e I had a tasty and filling Mac and Cheese. Lots of clean and comfortable seating; not too cluttered. Nice variety of breads on offer and displayed in the window. A good addition to the high street. Reasonably priced coffee / premium-priced food.
If ever I was in Lewes I always made sure to stock up on bread from this place. Can't believe we have them on our doorstop now. Pastries and cakes always delicious and the bread excellent especially the sourdough. Fig and walnut (I think) really nice with cheese. You can't go wrong basically!
