This is our favourite campsite close to London. It's very bare bones so you best have a table, plus anything else you want. But they allow fires and dogs and there's a great couple of pubs near by.
Stayed for one night for a short camping experience with my husband. Very accommodating.. Lovely well kept site, peaceful and picturesque. Only down side would be no shower facilities on site for longer stays.
If you're looking for no-frills camping, this site is awesome! Facilities are just taps and portaloos but there's a great wood for the kids to play in and the atmosphere is friendly and safe. No music, fires are encouraged as long as you're safe about it. There's a trailer selling logs, marshmallows and firelighters until 9pm (and taking your fees). Those are the essentials for this place. Picturesque means on a hill, there are few truly level spots. But that makes it real, right?
I had the most wonderful stay over the weekend, just me and my two dogs we found a quiet corner set up and chilled. Facilities are basic but that's what I wanted, they were very clean with place to wash up and get drinking water from. Camp fire, mashmellows and wine what more could I wish for. Great walks locally for the dogs too. I would definitely recommend it. I'm going back soon.
A fantastic family run campsite, having never been camping before Sam, Will and Alex made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the campfire outside our tent and investigating the stream in the woods. We will definitely be returning for another adventure on the farm.
