Having experienced the unimaginable with another crematorium in the same area and being let down terribly for a friend's loved pet, I contacted chestnut lodge in desperation and boy did they deliver the best customer service when it was needed. For that I returned when I lost my four pawed soulmate not a year later and again not let down. Professional, very empathetic and respectful. Thank you will not go anywhere else. Julie
Its 3 years yesterday since my dear Albert died, my Devon Rex/BSH ginger boy. I still miss him. Chestnut Lodge picked him up from my vets in Brighton and the vets told me that whoever picked him up was really careful, respectful, and lovely - they were impressed. Chestnut Lodge were very caring about looking after Albert, and his ashes were returned to me a week later in a beautiful package. Very thoughtful treatment from Chestnut Lodge made his passing easier. Thank you.
Losing our cat has been an awful experience, from him being ill to sadly having to put him to sleep.I have to say Chestnut Lodge have been so amazing from the very beginning by making sure he was picked up, to making him look so peaceful when we went to see him. Finally when his ashes where delivered they where presented in the most beautiful way, which really showed how professional and caring they are with every single detail.I would wholeheartedly recommend them to others and definitely use them again in the future. The service provided was excellent and dignified. You could not have asked for more and the staff were very patient with us whilst we said goodbye to a beloved pet. Would strongly recommend Chesnut Lodge for anyone who would like a peaceful and intimate end for their pet that has passed. Pricing was also very reasonable. Would like to thank everyone at Chesnut Lodge on behalf of my family and especially my mum for taking such care of cremating our dog.
