Small place full of fascinating information which changes regularly. Nearest toilet is in the local pub just up the road. Parking possible on the street. Annual ticket available when gift aiding entrance fee. Concessions available. Not very accessible to those with mobility issues due to the age of the building. We have been many times. Gardens are a delight.

Lovely early 15th century Hall House, beautifully presented and maintained, set in picturesque cottage garden, a in the Sussex village of West Hoathly . Appropriately furnished with period artifacts. There are many witch marks scratched on various locations around the house, to prevent witches entering the home. There is always an interesting exhibition, at the moment showing the Suffragette Handkerchief signed and embroidered by women in Holloway prison. House was once the property of Thomas Cromwell and then Anne of Cleves . Well worth a visit.
The man who checked me in was very informative not only of priest house but also if local area and folk lore. Beautiful quaint village.
