Good food, polite staff, reasonably priced.
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere though unfortunately the past few times we have eaten here the food has been subpar. Overcooked, oily and withered. Shame to say it used to be better. Doesn't stop us coming though as it really is a lovely pub.

Looks great, very warm and inviting but food is a real let down. After ordering two burgers, both came out without the beer battered onion rings and the raw onion in the burger was tough and inedible. When we stated the issue we received no apology but a full portion of poorly battered onion rings that dripped with the fresh fat they were cooked in. In an establishment thats asking for 5 a pint they really need to step it up in other areas. A smile from the staff wouldnt go amiss either. 2 star, wouldnt recommend :-(
